combining

stretchability

strength.

stretchability

makes

it

useful

knits

fabrics.

used

for

sewing

crotch

seams,

sewing

bias

seams

and

for

sleeve

insertion.

The

elastic

straight

stitch

can

also

be

used

for

decorative

purposes.
